Visual identity
Pony Express Love Letters is an annual Valentine’s Day event hosted by the Briscoe Western Art Museum. Participants of the event can write personal love letters which are delivered to their beloveds by modern day “Pony Express” riders (bike messengers) on February 14th.
The timeless USPS postmark stamp was used to create the flowing mane of the eponymous pony. A heart flies from the pony’s outstretched hoof, like cupid releasing true love’s arrow. Soft purple tones allude to romance and that fluttery feeling you get when your words of love are inscribed onto paper.
