Smoke & Embers is a pop-up dinner and demonstration hosted by the Briscoe Western Art Museum, featuring pitmaster Adrian Davila of Davila’s BBQ.

Born in South Texas, vaquero, or, “cowboy” style barbecue is a uniquely rustic approach to a timeless art. Taking cues from key elements of vaquero, the logo has a charred look; evoking not only the red hot embers upon which vaquero meats are directly smoked, but also the rough and tumble spirit of the fabled cowboy. A bold, blocky font with rugged edges further evokes the spirit of the Old West.
