Most designers will do the layout but ask you for all of the content. I was looking for someone to do the full gamut of design — website, professional photography, social media — as well as the writing portion. I didn’t want to tell Eli what to do; I wanted her to run with it. 

As a result of her work, our online traffic has increased dramatically. In the past, I was only getting referrals; today I received an email saying our pictures had already been viewed over 5,000 times. 

When it comes to creating a website, people try to cut corners. I looked at designing the website myself but quickly realized that I wanted to do what I do best — build homes — and to hire someone like Eli to do what they do best.
