Burning brightly in the heart of San Antonio’s historic Monte Vista neighborhood is Barbaro, a popular Italian restaurant and bar.

With an aesthetic that blends rustic and modern elements, the visual identity reflects this duality. The wordmark draws inspiration from hand-painted historical signage found in Naples and Italy at large, while the traditional red and green palette further signals the origin of Barbaro’s cuisine.
