The DoSeum is a children’s museum in San Antonio offering 68,000 square feet of interactive space. Young minds are encouraged to explore various exhibits connected to STEM, the arts, and literacy.

We were tasked with rebranding one of the DoSeum’s premier exhibits: The Spy Academy. We first redesigned the logo and welcome sign for the exhibit, using a recurring theme of a blue grid and circuit board-inspired lines to evoke the high-tech instruments used in “spy games.” This theme was taken a step further in the welcome sign; the grid is illuminated in a bright neon blue.

The circular logo itself was designed to conjure images of a decoder ring, with the telltale “all-seeing eye” letting young would-be spies know they’ve come to the right place.

“Across both physical and digital platforms, Eli’s contributions were essential in the renovation of the Semmes Foundation Spy Academy, a highly complex and ever-changing project. We’re extremely happy with her work, which resulted in a new look and feel for the Spy Academy. “
